Ideal Usage

  1. Write with light pressure - the pen glides effortlessly; don't press hard
  2. Use fresh ink only; avoid old bottled inks. Shake bottle well before filling
  3. Empty the pen if not in use - darker inks can damage the nib if left to dry
  4. Store ink bottles in dry, dark places away from sunlight to prevent fading
  5. Avoid chemically treated papers - they don't absorb ink well and may clog the nib. Clean if used on slick paper
  6. Don't lend your pen - the nib adapts to your writing style over time

Quality & Care

Begin by unscrewing the barrel from the nib section. Rinse the nib thoroughly with clean water until it runs clear. For pens with cartridges or converters, soak the nib section overnight, completely submerged in water. Always use distilled water at room temperature, or filtered water if distilled isn't available. Avoid hot or cold water and never use alcohol, as these can damage the pen. After cleaning, gently wipe the pen dry with a paper or microfiber towel. Clean your pen every few weeks or whenever you change ink colors to maintain optimal performance.
